In 1992, Bob Sayers came to Montana off the heels of a very successful career as an oil well fire fighter. He settled on a ranch on the outskirts of Loma, naming it Red Flame Ranch after his company. Now 30 years later, the ranch is second-generation. Having called the ranch home his entire life, Bob’s son Sean, is now an owner and helps operate the outfit.

The ranch focuses on purebred and commercial Simmental and SimAngus cattle. Stockmanship and quality genetics is at the center of attention as Bob and Sean aim to generate returns for buyers in the commercial and pure-bred industries. They utilize both new and traditional genetics from around the world.

Their goals go beyond that as they look to provide non-ranching customers with top quality beef, fresh from ranch to plate.
